The right study material for VTU — free and open.
VTUPEDIA is a free library of notes and previous-year question papers, each one checked against the official Visvesvaraya Technological University syllabus for your branch, scheme and semester. No ads. No paywalls. No "premium".
Sign-up takes 20 seconds — just your email and a one-time code.
Welcome back.
Ask anything about the notes and PYQs in your syllabus — answered strictly from what's uploaded, with sources cited.
Education should be open, and it should be free.
We believe every VTU student and teacher deserves study material that actually matches the university's syllabus — without paying for it, without wading through ads, and without signing up for something that plans to sell their data later.
VTUPEDIA is non-commercial and non-profit. There is no company behind it and nothing to buy. It's a project by three friends in the third year of the Information Science & Engineering department, currently in our fifth semester, building this in our spare time.
We started it because we kept hitting the same wall ourselves: the material was out there somewhere, but finding the right version of it — for the right scheme, the right branch, the right subject code — took longer than studying it.
Finding correct content shouldn't be the hard part.
VTU runs on specific schemes and subject codes. Most study material online ignores that.
Wrong university, wrong scheme. Notes written for a different syllabus or an old scheme look right until the exam, when half the unit isn't covered.
Scattered everywhere. PYQ papers live in dozens of WhatsApp groups, random Drive links and Telegram channels — with no way to tell which are complete or genuine.
No mapping to the syllabus. Even good notes rarely say which unit, module or subject code they belong to, so you can't trust the coverage.
Locked away. The few organised collections that exist sit behind logins, ads or payments — the opposite of how learning material should work.
One library, checked against the VTU syllabus.
Every file that goes into VTUPEDIA is tagged to a subject and checked for coverage against the official syllabus before it's published.
Syllabus-mapped notes
Notes organised by subject and unit, matched to the VTU scheme so you know the coverage is complete before you start.
Verified PYQ papers
Previous-year question papers gathered in one place, labelled by subject code, scheme and exam session.
For students and teachers
Free to read, free to share, and open to contributions from faculty who want their material to reach the right students.
Three friends, one syllabus problem.
We're second-half-of-third-year ISE students (5th semester). VTUPEDIA is our answer to a problem we deal with every exam season.

Free forever. That's the whole model.
No ads, no paywalls, no selling your data. If VTUPEDIA ever costs you anything, we've failed at the one thing we set out to do.
